Richard’s work has been described as ethereal, generous, beautiful and evocative. He doesn’t work from the landscape directly but uses the materials with joy and intensity to try and reveal the emotions one feels when surrounded by Nature.
His abstract paintings, prints and photographs are becoming known for their innovation; their richness and depth, and for the way he encourages the viewer to see the unseen- triggering memories of past places visited.
He exhibits his work at art fairs and galleries nationwide. His work is held in private and corporate collections across the UK, Europe and in the US.
