As the series of prints progressed, the imagery changed from high energy/rhythmic to more complex and melancholic.

Once some of the earlier pieces had definitely finished, I felt the need to push the ideas on by taking risks with the colour combinations: brand new colours to me, greens, yellows and pinks- definitely those of the Wye Valley and not of the Suffolk rivers. With these colours came an increased intensity as I battled with the new vocabulary they unearthed.
